There are two forces. One of them will be the winner. Where do you stand?

This morning, September 21, 2017, I followed the comments on a news page: An author expressed his fear of a Third World War. Thereupon he was asked by someone else to avoid these constant self-fulfilling prophecies on the commentary page, because our thoughts are to become real. Promptly he got a sarcastic answer about the nonsense he would post there.

What pleased me a lot: Several commentators were footing themselves on the side of the second. (In this yoga you can temporarily lose faith in people. :))

In this earthly milieu there are two seemingly contradictory forces: the lower nature that dominated our earthly system so far and thus pushed forward our evolution, and the superordinate Divine Power which is of the opinion that matter is developed far enough and now will be able to climb a higher level. He wants pain and suffering to disappear from creation. Then also the Luciferic Powers who support the lower nature will have to surrender or will be extinguished.

It is not a priority which political party we choose or whether we choose at all. If we surrender to the Divine Leadership and ask for doing the right thing we will either go to choose or not.

It is not important in which job we work. If we focus our consciousness on the Higher Leadership we will continue working in this profession or change into another. Our karma also decides. Our inner attitude and in what consciousness we accept our fate, that is what matters.

It is not a matter of righteousness whether someone eats from golden plates or lives in the streets as beggars. Among them, too, there are enlightened ones and those who have deliberately chosen this incarnation to serve the development of others. Perhaps they also have to work up their own karma or they have to promote or correct a certain inner development.

But it matters a lot to which power we donate our energy in this earthly environment and which power we block through our deliberate orientation and attention by faith, desire, sinews, worries, fears and fears. It is normal to lose faith for a while. But it's about getting back to the right attitude as quickly as possible.

I am not one who acknowledges the truth of the Bible in all testimony, but the story of "Daniel in the Lions' pit" is a good parable for the steadfast power of faith. He turns his back on evil and is protected by his attachment to the Divine, similar to that described in Psalm 91. This is exactly what the parable shows us.

It would also have been possible that Daniel would have fought and perhaps even lost the fight - if it for a better reason had been God's Will. Viewed from the outside it would have seen to be failure, but it is about the inner attitude. If he had fought and lost in the absolute faith that what he is doing is the will of God, it would have been a victory for the Psychic Being and would have had equally far-reaching positive karmic consequences.

Mother once told the true story of a woman who took part in a safari. She sat down under a tree for a brief moment to meditate and was alone. Suddenly she faced a lion. At that moment she gave herself to the Divine Guidance, believing, if it would be His Will she would be devoured. She closed her eyes and continued meditating. When she opened her eyes after a while the lion had disappeared. She had raised herself into a higher consciousness and was no longer "perceptible" for the lion.

Even if our living conditions are oppressive and painful and the global players do not cover themselves with glory: It will change. One has to go beyond the outer appearance and to concentrate on the Divinde Guidance which pulls the threads in the background.

Secular concerns lie in the hands of the Luciferic energies which still want to dominate the lower nature. But their days are counted. They are tolerated until everyone has made his choice. And choosing the Divine Consciousness is a prerequisite to "enter the new world". No other energy is tolerated there, no death, too.

Lord, Thy will be done, not my will. Let me do the right thing. Also if I do not understand and rebel against it.

If it is possible let me progress without suffering and pain.

 Der Mensch ist ein Übergangswesen.

 Man is a transitional being.

In order to gain faith and everything else you have to insist on getting it and must not grow weak, despair or give up until it is possessed - in this way everything has been obtained since this difficult earth is inhabited by thinking and longing beings. It is a matter of constantly opening ourselves to the light and turning your back on the darkness. It is necessary to reject the voices which tirelessly assert: "You cannot, you must not, you are incapable, you are a marionette of a dream."

I think I can claim to have experimented day and night, year by year, more conscientiously than a scientist examines his theory or method on the physical plane.

The manifestation of the Divine Love in the world was the great self-sacrifice, the highest self-giving. The Perfect Consciousness consented to immerse in the unconsciousness of matter and to be absorbed by it to awaken consciousness in the depths of its darkness and to gradually reveal a Divine power in it and to turn the totality of this manifested universe into a supreme expression of the Divine consciousness and Divine love.

I came to India to meet Sri Aurobindo. I remained in India to live with Sri Aurobindo. When he left his body, I continued to live here in order to do his work which is by serving the Truth and enlightening humanity to hasten the rule of the Divine's Love upon earth.

At the present time we are in the midst of the transitional period in which the two are intertwined: the old world still exists in all its power, dominates the ordinary consciousness, but the new is creeping in so modest and unobtrusive that at least for the moment it does not change much externally ...  but it works, it grows, until the day it is strong enough to assert itself visibly.

I saw these two extremes: the summit of the yogi and the summit, say, the electronics or the intellect. And what was between the two? And where is it better to escape? – For in both cases one seemed to be disappearing: either in bright white or in a rather suffocating black. But it wasn't life, not the Divine Life!

Oh, we all consider ourselves wise and knowing, how pity! We sleep wisely and scientifically and on a strange fire glimmering there which will soon overthrow all our wisdoms and sciences. What children we are! There, in the body. This mystery ...

It is very strange: like two bodies in each other. The one knows irrevocably and forever and against all odds, he knows the life he touches; and the other a little above and covering him is the old mortal body, the result of countless ancestors which brought him death and only death  – death at the slightest doubt of his ancient tradition. And he knows nothing at all! He only knows the old law.

Es ist die Dunkelheit vor der

Morgendämmerung,

just the darkness

before dawn ...
